Introduction

Forklift Trucks

Our range of forklift truck operator and management courses are delivered to the high standards of the Association of Industrial Truck Trainers (AITT) who are a leading awarding body in the workplace transport industry. The association is also a founder member of the Accrediting Bodies Association – Workplace Transport (ABA).

There are four levels of training for forklift operations as follows:

Novice: aimed at delegates with no forklift truck experience

Experienced: aimed at delegates who have not had any formal training but have operated a forklift for a period of time.

Refresher: aimed at delegates who are due to renew their current licence, allowing re-assessment to ensure that current operation and safety standards are being met

Conversion: aimed at delegates who already hold a current licence on a different type of forklift truck to convert them to another type of truck.

All our courses will give operators the skills required to carry out pre-use inspections, operate safely and efficiently and recall the causes of truck and load instability.

The number of days training is dependent on the category of forklift, the number of operatives and the level of training required and can be delivered at our training centre or at our customers premises. Please get in touch where we can help you define your requirements fully.
