Individual Training Accounts – ITA

Individual Training Accounts offer targeted funding which focuses on those who are 16 or over, living in Scotland and either in low paid work and looking to progress or actively seeking work.

You can apply for an ITA if you meet the following criteria:

  • are not undertaking any secondary, further or higher education,
  • are not training through the Employability Fund or Modern Apprenticeship,
  • are not participating on the Community Jobs Scotland programme,
  • have an income of £22,000 a year or less, or be on benefits.

ITAs are available if you are interested in learning something new or developing an existing skill to support you in work. There is a wide range of courses to choose from and you can study with any ITA approved learning provider, including learning centres, local colleges, universities and private training providers. Find out more on the My World of Work website.

Raeburn Training have three courses available to book with ITA funding:

CITB Skills & Training Fund

We can provide support to CITB registered companies with 99 or less employees, by securing amounts between £5,000 to £10,000 through the skills and training fund depending on your training needs and headcount.

This can often be an intensive, time consuming piece of work, therefore, by utilising our expertise we take on the time and effort required, with minimal input from the customer at key stages of the process simply to ensure we are meeting requirements.

We offer a free consultation, thereafter, applying a 15% charge based on the funding awarded to the customer.

If you would like to discuss our CITB Funding Support service please contact [email protected] or call 01592 724797.

CITB Short Course Grants

CITB offer a range of grant options that help employers off-set the cost of training which allows them to continually invest in upskilling and developing their workforce.

At Raeburn Training, when we quote for training we will advise whether the course is grant eligible, then following delivery we will process certificates through CITB so that our customers receive the money they are entitled to for all grant eligible courses.

You can check out the range of grants available at www.citb.co.uk
