The IOSH Managing Safely course covers, in detail, the core responsibilities of anyone tasked with managing workplace health and safety.
The course will cover:
- Module 1: Introducing managing safely
- Module 2: Assessing risks
- Module 3: Controlling risks
- Module 4: Understanding responsibilities
- Module 5: Understanding hazards
- Module 6: Investigating incidents
- Module 7: Measuring performance
Training is delivered in a classroom environment, with group interaction throughout.
Minimum of 4 delegates, maximum of 12 delegates

Managers, and anyone with management responsibility for staff. Those who need a clear understanding of the key elements of effective health and safety management and associated legislation.
How to prepare
There are no candidate pre-requisites for this course.
Candidates will be assessed through a 25 question, multiple format assessment paper at the end of the course as well as a risk assessment based project

Certification for this course is valid for 5 years. To remain certified in this area, you will need to retake the course before the expiry date.
