Course Aim
First Aid for Mental Health training ensures there is support within your workplace, for anyone dealing with a mental health issues.
Anyone can be affected by a mental health condition either themselves or a family member, friend or colleague. This NUCO approved course covers a wider range of mental health conditions and goes into detail on the range of therapy and professional support that a person may be given by professional bodies during treatment for a mental health condition.
Upon successful completion of the qualification assessment, Learners will be awarded the Ofqual regulated Level 3 Award in Supervising First Aid for Mental Health (RQF)/Award in Leading First Aid in Mental Health at SCQF Level 6.

Course Content
At the end of this course learners will have an understanding of:

Who should attend First Aid for Mental Health
The course is suitable for all persons within a workplace but is aimed at those who hold a supervisory/managerial level position and have responsibility for implementing a positive mental health culture and responsibility within their organisation.
This course is open to all industries and there are no learner pre-requisites for this course.

2-Day classroom
Assessment
Summative practical assessment is ongoing by the instructor each day, along with a written assessment on each day.

£160 per person +VAT.
Multiple learners/Group bookings, prices start from £120 +VAT per person, for groups of 6 or more.
Validity
Certificate is valid for 3 years. It is strongly recommended that learners attend annual refresher training.
