First Aid at Work will give learners the skills and knowledge required to deal with a range of first aid situations. This includes: assessing an incident, managing an unresponsive casualty, CPR, heart attacks, choking, head and spinal injuries, fractures, anaphylaxis and more.

First Aid at Work Course Content
At the end of the course you will have an understanding of:
- Legal compliance.
- Managing a casualty
- Conscious/unconscious casualties
- Treating a casualty
- Further emergency action
- General common illnesses
- Basic life support
- First aid kits/equipment
- Recording/reporting injuries
Training is delivered in a classroom environment, with group interaction throughout.

For people who are required to be first aiders within their workplace.
There are no candidate pre-requisites for this course.

Assessment
Assessment will include 6 x Practical assessments and 2 x Theory assessments (Multiple Choice Question Papers).
Price
£210 per person +VAT.
Group bookings from £130 per person +VAT, for bookings of 5 learners or more.
Validity
It is recommended that candidates undergo annual refresher training before full re-certification after three years.
