At the end of the course you will have an understanding of:

- Assessing an incident
- Managing an unresponsive casualty
- CPR & defibrillation
- Recovery position
- Choking
- Seizures
- Shock
- Wounds & bleeding
- Minor injuries

Minimum of 4 delegates, maximum of 12 delegates
Who should attend
The course is for those who have a specific responsibility at work, to provide first aid in a range of emergency first aid situations. It is also ideal for people who have a specific responsibility to provide basic first aid in voluntary and community activities.

There are no candidate pre-requisites for this course.

Assessment
4 x Practical assessments and 1 x Theory assessment (Multiple Choice Question Paper).
Price
£80 per person + VAT, closed group price from £480
Validity
The qualification is valid for 3 years and candidates must re-take the qualification and assessment prior to the certificate expiring to remain qualified.
Open Course
Open/public courses are delivered monthly throughout the year in Kirkcaldy, location varies depending on numbers attending each month.
Closed Course
Courses can be delivered as a group booking at the customers premises or at our facilities in Kirkcaldy
