PASMA Low Level Access
Course Aim
The aim of this course is to ensure that operatives are trained in how to safely assemble, dismantle and relocate low level work platforms without risk of personal injury to the self or others.
Course Content
The course will cover:
- Legislation, regulations and guidance
- PASMA code of practice
- Assembling, altering and dismantling low level access units
- Inspection of completed low level access units
- Completing of Tower inspection records
- Hazards affecting the use of low level access units
Theory elements are delivered in a classroom environment, practical elements delivered in a suitable indoor area.
Candidate Numbers
Minimum of 4 delegates, maximum of 12
Who should attend
Personnel who will be responsible for the assembly, dismantling, alteration, moving and inspecting of low level work platforms (under 2.5m of height)
How to prepare
It is beneficial for candidates to have a basic understanding of work at height issues.
Assembly and use of mobile access towers can be physically demanding, therefore users should be physically fit and in good health.
Candidates must come equipped with suitable head / foot protection and gloves.

Assessment
Candidates will be required to complete a closed book exam and achieve a pass mark of 80% in both the theory and practical elements.
Price
£138 per person + VAT on an open course, £1,074 + VAT per group for a closed course.
Validity
PASMA Photo Cards and Certificates are valid for 5 years.
Open Course
Open/public courses are delivered based on demand throughout the year, delivered at our training centre.
Closed Course
Courses can be delivered as a group booking at the customers premises or at our training centre.
